Arima tonight for PNM

Another PNM Monday night meeting. What will Patrick Manning tell Arima?

Prime Minister Patrick Manning will tonight continue his campaign of Monday night “political education” meetings, in the absence of Local Government elections, at what the People’s National Movement (PNM) calls the “College of Arima Promenade”.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30 and is the third in the series dealing with Vision 2020 and modernising systems of governance. The other meetings have been held at Woodford Square, Port of Spain, two weeks ago, and the second at Harris Promenade, San Fernando, last week.

Next Monday the PNM will venture into the opposition United National Congress (UNC) heartland with a meeting at Centre Pointe Mall, Chaguanas.

The meetings which are expected to continue for several weeks clash with the UNC’s Monday night meetings which have been held for the past six years.
