Queen Elizabeth 11 will open the Commonwealth Heads of Government conference (CHOGM) at the National Academy for the Performing Arts, Queen’s Park West tomorrow. It will mark the 60th anniversary of the 53-member Commonwealth of Nations.

Port of Spain will be, literally, a ghost town tomorrow for the big event with certain areas being out of bounds to vehicular and pedestrian traffic and schools, Government offices and the courts being closed.
